This is a super late post for the Winter 2012 Luxe Box. But I’m sure it doesn’t really matter because I received it quite late anyways. I received the box on December 19 2012. Yes, it was within the timespan that Loose Button stated it would deliver, however LOLO’s sister received it over a week earlier than me. When she received it, I was so excited and I rushed home fairly quickly to see if I received mine. Did I? No. I was super bummed out.
Anyways, I now have the box and I am super excited since I received 7 deluxe samples – Per my note care – three full size samples, two rare samples, and two regular samples. Rare? Me like!
Lets get started! Again, they reused the same box. I was hoping that they would give us something different, but I guess cost would be too high for that. The box is still very luxe though.
They did instead of wrapping the items in a satin like cloth, they turned it into a dust bag. I do think this is such a good idea since we can definitely reuse it in many different ways.
I received the following items:
Loose Button – Faux Eye Lashes (full size)
I didn’t open it up since I rarely use falsies. I wear glasses and if I wear lashes they would turn into windshield wipers for my glasses. Dirty windshield wipers to be exact! Super gross. I am planning to probably use them for a special occasion or give it for a friend.
Essie – Nail Lacquer in Leading Lady (full size)
Super pretty colour! I absolutey love Essie nail polishes. Definitely something to wear to kick of the new year!
Elizabeth Grant – Biocollais Complex Cell Vitality 3-in-1 Eye Treatment (deluxe sample)
I’ve scene Elizabeth Grant products at Winners but never picked it up. I don’t have much lines or puffiness, but I notice as I get older, I am getting dark circles. I will try this out shortly.
Shu Uemura – Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Leave-in Oil for Dry Hair (rare sample)
Shu Uemura is one of the top of the line beauty brands out there and they make outstanding products. However, they are incredibly over priced. Shu Uemura came out with their hair line in 2012. The oil is suppose to create high shine and provide UV protection.
Calvin Klein – Euphoria (deluxe sample)
This fragrance is very rich and sensual and quite overpowering.
Marc Anthony – Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion (deluxe sample)
I have started using this product before when I curled my hair. It works quite well since my hair likes to stay super straight. I put a dollop of lotion on my palm, ruffle it into my hair, and either use a curling iron or hot curlers. It works beautifully.
Shu Uemura – Essence Absolue Nourishing Oil-in Cream (rare sample)
For leave in treatments, I perfer oils. But it work just like the Leave-in Oil stated above.
Loose Button – Kabuki Brush (full size)
Interesting that Loose Button is giving away beauty tools. I love kabuki brushes and have more than a handful of them. This one is quite thick and fluffy.
Overall, I love this box more than my last once since I love hair products and I have always wanted to try Shu Uemura’s Art of Hair line. Hopefully Loose Button will out do this box in their Spring Edition!
