Annabelle has come out with their custom quad eyeshadows for quite a while. They are like a MAC custom palette, fit perfectly into a custom MAC palette, but the Annabelle custom compact is magnetic and the MAC single eyeshaows are magnetic.
I have been eyeying their custom quad eyeshadows because I like the control where I can create my own eyeshadow palette instead of someone creating it for me. When Annabelle came out with a Daydream Spring 2011 collection which contained 4 limited edition new eye shadows for their custom quad palette, they were do dreamy that I knew I had to pick up some of the colours!
Clockwise – Rêverie (blue), Dayglo (yellow), Airhead (lavender), and Dollywood (pink). These eyeshadows were inspired by the runways this year.
They were such beautiful colours, I picked up 3 limited edition colours, but sadly, Rêverie was sold out last time I dropped by Shoppers Drug Mart so I picked up 5 more colours and two custom palettes. Greedy no? I caved into temptation! =D
Left palette: (clockwise) Airhead, Dollywood, Vanilla Chilla, and Ebony. Right palette: (clockwise) Snowflake, Lagoon, Dayglo and Metallic Meltdown.
Palette #1 Colours – Airhead, Dollywood, Vanilla Chilla, and Ebony.
Palette #2 Colours – Snowflake, Lagoon, Dayglo and Metallic Meltdown.cisio
Pretty palettes no? There are more palette combinations I could do, but I’ll stick with these for now. Also, I’ll probably make a video or a tutorial or just a post about the looks I make with these colours, I have yet to decide. De
They are so very pretty and they are only around $4.00 a piece. Although the shadows are not as finely milled as MAC’s, it’s a fraction of a MAC eyeshadow will cost. So definitely worth the buy. Sadly, it doesn’t come in as many colours as MAC.
