January 2012 Luxe Box

I was going to post this earlier last week, but my internet was down for the entire week. My house felt like it went back to the stone ages. I can live without the internet when I’m on vacation, but I’m not and I never felt so excited to go to work to use check my email. Lost communication…

Last weekend I received my January Luxe box. The package was quite big as it had two boxes, one – the regular black box and the other bath and body box.

Loose Button sometimes does premium samples, but their quantity are limited and normally send an email about their premium samples early in the month for first come first serve customers. I was tried to get a Benefit blush sample, but they were all taken before I was able to even select it. So, I chose the Curl Keeper, I’ll probably try it when I curl my hair. January’s Luxe box had pretty decent products this time around.

The contents are quite nice this time, I do not like scent that much but this month I am willing to give it a try. Scents are too personal, I say. But, I did really want to try a Prada fragrance and I don’t need to go to the fragrance counter to check them out. Internet really makes me at stay-at-home rat a lot.

NYX products, I’ve used a lot and they are very good for the price you pay. All NYX products received this time were full size products. I do have a Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk and it’s down to its last bit so getting a free one is pretty awesome replacement! My Mom ended up loving the lipstick colour so I gave it to her.

For a coffee addict, coffee makes the best gift. A coffee bonus is always good, Seattle’s Best coffee can’t top Second Cup coffee, but it’s far better than Starbucks. My Mom also ended up liking this coffee more than I do.

Luxe Box providing a Bath and Body box was a quite a surprise. A good surprise. A white sleek box that matched the original black one. It came with only two items:

Frekkai Advanced Brillant Glossing Olive Oil Shampoo & Conditioner 9mL each

I don’t normally use razors but this package would be fantastic for my next vacation that I’m planning. I’ll definitely take both items with me.

At the end of the day, this is one of the best Luxe boxes I’ve received, minus my very first one as that was really nolstalgic. But next week is Feburary’s, I can’t wait!
