Red – the colour of love, of happiness, of blood, of anger and possibly of madness upon many other things. This time, it’s for a limited edition Luxe Box. I super love red and when I opened my box, I was extremely happy. It’s nice to receive a different box aside from the black one they always give me.
This month, Loose Button collaborated with FLARE Magazine to craft a beautiful deluxe limited edition Luxe Box.

After my haircut, I went dying my hair a deep wine red despite my hairstylist told me to dye it ash brown (L’Oreal 512) with a hit of violet. But I had the hair dye at home and I like red. Once all my stocked up hair dye is used up, I’ll be more adventurous and dye it brown instead. Anyways, getting this sample was perfect timing since my hair is freshly dyed I will definitely be trying this out shortly.

I’ve used Moroccanoil before and honest opinion? I absolutely love it. It help keep my hair healthy and actually shorten my blow-drying time. However, I’m currently using a Japanese product with camellia oil and it’s very good as well. I got my mom hooked on this stuff too! I will definitely bring it with me on my next vacation.

I’ve never heard of this brand before, but it’s very absorbent and odorless when I first tried it out. I love fragrance-free body creams and this one does the trick. I have yet to try it for the winter weather.
Lise Waiter – 24 Hours Glam Mascara [buy from lisewaiter.com]

I’ve never used Lise Waiter’s products, but I am still looking for the perfect mascara and eyeliner without any fallout. This one does the trick. I’ve cried, wore it over 8 hours, rubbed my eyes and it didn’t even come off or smudge off. Absolutely amazing! Sadly Lise Waiter isn’t sold at the Shoppers close to my house, but it’s definitely worth the purchase.

My friend who also subscribes to Luxe Box tried this out. She had extremely sensitive skin and it worked pretty well for her. She mentioned that it absorbed very quickly and saw her face toned up quickly as well. Since, I’m planning a mini trip soon, I will definitely bring this with me to try out.

Yay! I use to subscribe to Flare, however someone in my house kept throwing out my magazines before it reached my hands. This magazine tends to have more articles relating fashion than articles about style. Hence, it’s a fashion magazine. Sadly, a friend of mine also subscribes to Luxe Box didn’t get a subscription but a card stating that she can subscribe for $12/year. Is it because she’s not an annual subscriber to LuxeBox, but I am? We’ll see next month.
Overall, although I received less items this month, I got better products and better value for my $12 monthly subscription. I am looking forward for my next Luxe Box! Wonder if there would be more make up products… or skincare… hmm…
